Leading the World! Multi-Functional Integrated Damper Device and Its Automatic Control Technology Pass the Expert Demonstration Meeting

On October 22nd, the Expert Demonstration Meeting on the Multi-Functional Integrated Damper Device for Bridges and Its Automatic Control Technology was held in the conference room of Wuhan Newtery. This project was jointly developed by Newtery in collaboration with the owner unit, design institutes and construction units. The meeting invited renowned experts from various prestigious institutions, including Academician Chen Zhengqing of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, China Railway Major Bridge Reconnaissance & Design Institute Group Co., Ltd., CCCC Second Highway Consultants Co., Ltd., Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Changsha University of Science & Technology, China Railway Fourth Survey and Design Institute Group Co., Ltd., and the State Key Laboratory of Bridge Structure Health and Safety. At the meeting, Wu Chengliang, General Manager of Newtery, delivered a report on the R&D, design process, experimental phases, practical application, and socio-economic benefit analysis of the damper device. He also elaborated on its pivotal role in achieving the major technological breakthrough of all-weather and high-precision bridge closure.

After carefully reviewing the project documents and research achievement reports, and listening to the presentation, the academicians and experts conducted in-depth discussions and evaluations on the report in light of the industry's development, and put forward valuable suggestions.

Following the demonstration, the academicians and experts unanimously agreed that the overall scientific and technological achievements of this project have reached an overall international leading level!
