Scheme Overview

Design of a U-shaped girder fall prevention device is adopted. After the bearing bolts are sheared off, the seismic force of the girder can be transmitted to the piers and other substructures through the U-shaped girder fall prevention device. During this process, the U-shaped steel undergoes plastic deformation and has a certain damping energy dissipation capacity, belonging to a flexible girder fall prevention device. This solves the problem of potential girder fall when the bridge bearing bolts are sheared off. Its core advantage is that the device can not only exert the girder fall prevention function, but also has the damping and shock absorption function, with controllable girder fall prevention force and high reliability of girder fall prevention.
