Wuhan Newtery Participates in Academic Conference on Seismic Reduction and Exchanges with Experts

From July 28 to 30, 2022, the 12th Academic Conference on Structural Seismic Reduction and Control, hosted by Huazhong University of Science and Technology, was grandly held at the Wuhan East Lake International Conference Center. Wuhan Newtery participated in the conference as a co-organizer.

The national academic seminar was attended by experts engaged in seismic disaster prevention and mitigation engineering research, university professors and engineering technicians from all over the country. Wu Chengliang, General Manager of Wuhan Newtery, and Yan Leilei, Chief Technical Engineer, delivered presentations at the conference entitled Development of New Viscous Dampers and Their Engineering Applications in Long-span Bridges and Application of Friction Pendulum Bearings in Overseas Bridges and Analysis of Actual Earthquake Performance respectively. During the conference, many experts engaged in in-depth exchanges at Wuhan Newtery’s exhibition booth.

During the conference, Academician Chen and Professor Hua from Hunan University, Professor Ye from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Professor Yu from Hunan University of Science and Technology, Chief Engineer He from Beijing Institute of Architectural Design and other distinguished experts visited our factory for guidance, touring the production workshops, laboratories and R&D center. General Manager Wu gave a detailed introduction to the company's basic situation, R&D strength and special-function dampers, with a focus on the all-weather closure intelligent jacking damper, spring damper, fuse-type damper, low-index viscous damper, dual-constitutive damper, steel damper device and others. The experts spoke highly of the achievements of our products in practical engineering applications, fully recognized our corporate culture, and affirmed the quality and services of our products.
