Located in the core area of the Houhai Financial Headquarters Base, China Resources Tower covers a total construction area of approximately 270,000 square meters, with a height of 392.5 meters, 66 floors above ground and 5 floors underground. It was the tallest building along Shenzhen Bay upon completion. Faced with the stringent seismic energy dissipation requirements of super high-rise buildings, Wuhan Newtery stood out with customized technical solutions, stringent quality control standards and a full-lifecycle service commitment. We not only provided 8 sets of viscous dampers for the project, but also equipped it with a structural health monitoring system to realize real-time monitoring and evaluation of the structural status.

Since its delivery in 2018, China Resources Tower in the Pearl River Delta has withstood multiple extreme weather events, including super typhoons Mangkhut, Ma-on and Talim. During this period, the viscous dampers and structural health monitoring system we configured for the tower have maintained stable and continuous operation. Monitoring data shows that under strong wind loads, the damping system has effectively exerted its vibration reduction effect, controlling structural responses within safety thresholds, with its key performance indicators consistently meeting design expectations, providing sustained protection for the building's long-term safe operation.

Dampers are the ‘security guards’ of building structures. Successful product supply is only the starting point, while long-term stable operation is the core. We provide quarterly maintenance services (four times a year) for China Resources Tower, with a professional technical maintenance team stationed on-site to conduct comprehensive inspection and maintenance:
