The Jiayu Yangtze River Bridge spans a total length of 4,690 meters, starting from Yanwo Town in Honghu City and ending in Xinjie Town in Jiayu County. The completion of this project optimizes the transportation layout of the Wuhan Metropolitan Area, alleviates traffic pressure on the Huyu and Jinggang'ao Expressways, and holds significant importance for enhancing connectivity and coordinated development between the Jianghan Plain and the Mufu Mountain area, propelling the local economy onto a fast track.

A total of 8 sets of viscous dampers designed and manufactured by Wuhan Newtery have been applied to the bridge, including 4 sets of jacking dampers with special functions and 16 sets of stay cable dampers.
