Xishi High-Speed Railway Hanjiang River Super-Major Bridge

The Hanjiang Special Bridge is a key project of the Xi'an-Shiyan High-Speed Railway. It is 917.45 meters long and adopts a 420-meter main span cable-stayed bridge that crosses the river in a single span. The tower is 186.5 meters high. It is constructed and managed by the Hubei Branch of Wuji Passenger Dedicated Line and is built by the 11th Bureau of China Railway. It is the first high-speed railway cable-stayed bridge with a combined beam and truss structure in China and the current world's largest span of such a combined beam and truss structure cable-stayed bridge.

 

On April 14, 2025, the bridge was successfully completed and closed. A total of 12 sets of lateral metal dampers and 8 sets of viscous dampers were used. The models and parameters are as follows:
