The Chengdu-Kunming Railway is an important part of the "Eight Vertical and Eight Horizontal" high-speed railway main channels in the national "Medium and Long-Term Railway Network Plan". The Dachich River Special Bridge is a large-scale railway bridge spanning the Dachich River on the Chengdu-Kunming Railway. It is located about 8 kilometers upstream of Suofengying Hydropower Station. The bridge starts from Misenzhai in Tieshi Township, Qianxi County, and then crosses the Dachich River to the southeast. Its final destination is Longshang Group, Shatian Village, Dangliu Township, Qianzhen City. The total length of the bridge is 971 meters, with a main span of 436 meters. It is the world's largest cross-spanning medium-span open-web steel-concrete composite basket arch bridge. 

On November 18, 2016, the special bridge was successfully completed and sealed. A total of 8 sets of viscous dampers were used, with the following models and parameters:
