Spherical Bearing

Spherical Bearing

Product Introduction

The Spherical Bearing is a common type of bridge bearing device. It typically consists of components such as the upper bearing plate, lower bearing plate, spherical crown lining plate, spherical sliding plate, plane sliding plate, and anchorage assembly.

Based on its function, it is classified into fixed type, longitudinal movable type, transverse movable type, and bidirectional movable type.

Its core working principle involves releasing bridge rotation angles through the sliding between the spherical sliding plate and the spherical crown lining plate, and releasing horizontal displacements through the sliding between the plane sliding plate and the stainless-steel plate, thereby ensuring stable structural force distribution.

Advantages and Features

  • Flexible Rotation

Offers flexible rotation, capable of meeting the large rotation angle requirements of bridges.

  • Strong Seismic Resistance

Provides substantial horizontal displacement capacity with smooth sliding, accommodating bridge temperature deformation, seismic displacement, etc.

  • High Load-Bearing Capacity

Features high load-bearing capacity and good structural stability, making it suitable for various types of long-span bridges.

  • Low Maintenance Cost

Utilizes reliable component materials with excellent durability, resulting in low maintenance costs.
